MTV “3 South” ON-AIR PROMOSEven though the main animation for this short-lived series was done overseas in animation sweatshops by foreign people, when MTV needed to produce two short on-air promos for the show, they came to us. Why? MTV needed it all produced quickly and inexpensively, that’s why.
Does this make sense? Yes! Since we had the very first Flash for broadcast piece on network television with the Rosie O’Donnell open in 2000, we’ve honed the process dramatically, allowing productions to be reasonably priced and fast as the dickens. The show’s producers loved being able to see full-color interactive storyboards online and to have the freedom to give notes in English. Each promo took less than a month to produce, and because of their success, MTV has come back to us with assignments for full episode animation for other shows.
